"Dem Geiste, dem Leben wird nichts gegeben; was er empfangen hat, das ist er selbst geworden, das ist so in ihn übergegangen, daß es jetzt eine Modifikation desselben, daß es sein Leben ist."
Hegel
My passion is for the dark and esoteric and the military historical, be that an odd mix or not
I love the occult, the mysterious, ineffable and numinous, - life measured by the degree to which an idea, aspiration, object seeks to lift one's mind to the hidden side of things
as Novalis described it - the outer world is an inner world that has been raised to the condition of secrecy.

Amazing stuff!! I hope you do more Landsknecht, ie pike battles such as the capture of King Francis, death of Bourbon , battle of Biacoca, Carry on !
thanks - perhaps my first interest really was that of Landsknechts and the renaissance - i would love to do more such art, though i have so much napoleonic stuff i want to get done, when i have the free time to do so.
I actually had a big vision of a graphic novel series set in 16th century Europe based around landsknechts and a mixture of politics and myth and magic. I drafted out most of the first book but life then go in the way and it sits in a pile of drafts and things -hope i can return to it one day
I am sure your graphic novel would be GREAT! I have seen parts of an OLDS Italian Graphic novel on the Sack of Rome. I have just finished a manuscript of a novel on the Italian Wars - KINGS, GOD and GOLD.
Fantastic art! I especially like the occult themed works!
